John Doherty
Founder and Chairman
After a 30 year legacy with the Waldorf-Astoria, John grew a keen desire to focus on quality ingredients sourced from local purveyors, and opened BLACKBARN Restaurant in New York City in 2015. Although preparing meals for Presidents and Dignitaries was inspiring, Doherty responded to a higher calling with a desire to feed those in need. Doherty founded Heavenly HARVST Foundation in 2015 and is determined to make a positive impact on global hunger.

Jan Willem van Bergen Henegouwen
Vice Chairman and Secretary
Jan Willem van Bergen Henegouwen has over 40 years of experience working in luxury hotels all over the world. He began his career at the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo and worked in a variety of highly rated hotels in the United States, including the Waldorf Astoria, the Helmsley Palace, and the New York Hilton. He is involved with numerous charitable organizations and was acknowledged for his contributions to non-profit community services as the distinguished recipient of the American Resort Development Association – ACE Community Service Award.

Ty James
Treasurer
Ty is the President and co-founder of 1095 Capital, a family office for an ultra-wealthy family with over $2B AUM overseeing their financial transactions, real estate matters, and tax consulting. Over his real estate career, Ty served as a Portfolio Controller for Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT), a publicly traded REIT with annual revenues exceeding $600 million and served as a Controller at a real estate private equity firm with acquisitions exceeding $100 million within a 12-month timespan.

Jenna Elliott
Vice President and CEO
Following a successful career in fashion, Jenna has found a renewed sense of purpose through her work with the Heavenly HARVST Foundation. As the daughter of a Chef, Jenna has always understood the importance of meal time and has a deep appreciation for the pride that comes with putting high-quality, nutritious food on the table. Her desire to give back was only strengthened as she started her own family. Jenna is thrilled to be able to work alongside her father, Chef John Doherty, to fulfill the Heavenly HARVST mission and has served as the Executive Director for HHF since its founding, connecting the organization with the food banks and programs it serves.

Kevin J. Casey
Director and Chair Development Committee
Kevin Casey is the Managing Principal of Patusan Millennium Group, LLC, a closely held private equity firm founded in 1998, which specializes in investment structuring, capital sourcing, and asset development across a variety of investments in real estate and early-stage operating companies. His real estate expertise consists of pre-development entitlements, project oversight, and asset management. Kevin has also served as a Special Advisor to the Board of Directors for multiple companies and has been a director of several non-profit boards throughout his career.

Sean Brady
Director
An accomplished Insurance & Risk Management Professional with a robust background in Finance and Reinsurance, Mr. Brady leads a dedicated team of 20 professionals at Brady Risk, now a division of HUB International. Specializing in Risk Management Services, Brady Risk caters to some of the largest employers in the US across various sectors.
Mr. Brady is deeply passionate about aviation, boating, skiing, and ensuring client success. Known for its innovative approach and proprietary analytics, Brady Risk continues to maintain its entrepreneurial spirit under HUB International, leveraging the resources of a $4 billion company to deliver exceptional solutions.

Cassandra Seidenfeld
Director
Cassandra Seidenfeld is Co-Founder and COO of SMR, a Global Sotheby’s International Real Estate Advisor, an initial investor of HOVR Ride Share [2024] and a philanthropist. She currently resides in New York. Cassandra, a former international fashion model, is an award-winning actress, producer and an athlete. She is actively involved in many charitable organizations as Board Member and Chair. She received the 2016 Women4Empowerment Gold Medal of Honor for her humanitarian work focusing on eradicating human trafficking. She feels deeply about giving back, mentoring, lifting up and championing voices of the unheard.

Jennifer Doherty
Being raised by a Restaurateur and then marrying a Chef, Jennifer’s life has always been influenced by food and feeding people. Jennifer went on to work in hospitality, in sales roles for various hotels and eventually realized her dream of living in NYC with an opportunity at The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. Jennifer eventually accepted a roll as Managing Director for AKA Residences in NYC and held that position for 11 years before pausing her career to care for her three children. Jennifer is a certified Health Coach and is a passionate supporter of Heavenly HARVST’s goal of ending hunger in the world with healthy meals.

Angela Molenaar
Angela Molenaar is a non-profit professional with a focus on the arts and culture. Following her Master’s in Studio Art from New York University, Molenaar worked in NYC at the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, EYEBEAM Art & Technology, the Buckminster Fuller Institute, and The Netherland-America Foundation (NAF), for which she served as Executive Director for 11 years. She is an accomplished organizational leader, with skills in strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, organizational development, and Board relationships, Since stepping down from the NAF in 2018, Molenaar continues as a volunteer for the organization’s fundraisers. She has also resumed her studio art practice.

Erin Hayes
Erin is an urban planner and community design specialist with a rich background in nonprofit work. Her dedication to environmental equity underscores her commitment to creating a sustainable future. In her experience at Storefront for Community Design, she played a key role in developing the Jackson Ward Community Plan, helping SFCD earn the AIA Architecture Medal for Virginia Service. She has improved community spaces and advanced social equity through collaborative efforts with the Capital Region Land Conservancy, VCU Arts, and Richmond Connects. Erin recognizes the connection between equitable design and equitable access to nutritious foods and now works alongside those at Heavenly HARVST to address the global hunger crisis. On the advisory board, Erin’s holistic approach strengthens the foundation’s mission, ensuring that nutritious, high-quality meals reach more communities in need.

Jadelyn Ho
Jadelyn Ho is currently a Director of Events at BLACKBARN restaurant based in the Flatiron neighborhoods of New York City. She brings her experience from her prior roles managing venues in New York hospitality. Her background in hospitality has honed her skills in organization, customer service, and leadership. Currently, she dedicates her expertise to nonprofit initiatives, contributing to the community with innovative and strategic event planning.

Jamie O’Sullivan
Jamie is currently a HNW Tailored Lending Specialist at Royal Bank of Canada in their US Wealth Management Division. Previously she worked as a Director at Credit Suisse where she was focused on structured lending transactions, as well as corporate deposit product sales within the Investment Bank. Prior to this, she worked on as part of the Global Product Solutions, Banking & Lending team within the Private Bank at Credit Suisse. Jamie currently serves as part of the Heavenly HARVST Advisory Board and previously served on the Leadership Council for The Family Center for several years.
